Spirituality is reality
If you are an atheist and or a non spiritual, non believer in god or a god like source, you are denying your own true existence, your own true reality.
Every morning you wake with a voice in your head that talks to you. You can hear it talking in your own voice. But who is truly talking? How are we able to do that if not for a soul? If not for unseen energy and an underestimated brain capacity?
We are able to see the past with our minds eye, we can re-live experiences in our mind and body over and over again.
We are able to see the future and generate a physical bodily response. We can feel the feelings before anything has happened, we can feel the happiness or sadness or stress within us just from thought. All from the power of the mind.
But is it really the power of the mind or a power much greater? A power much greater has given us the ability to use our minds.
All you have to do is be aware of life and there is no denying that we are connected through spirit, through a power source that is easiest to explain by calling it god.
It’s our own bodies intelligence on how to heal itself. How it knows what is best for us if we listen to it.
It’s the innate knowing a plant has to release its seeds when it’s about to die so it can continue to live on in another location.
It’s how an animal that can’t communicate through talking has built in instincts on how to survive.
To be spiritual is to live, in any way shape or form. You can’t avoid it. You are spirit, you living is evidence of spirituality, you are a part of god.
Religions are an extension of spirituality. It gives people guidance on how to feel closer to god, or the source, it gives them tools in order to live more spiritual. Regardless of how a religion functions or if they might seem cult like, people seek refuge because they need guidance on how to live more meaningful and more aware of their true maker, as they don’t know how to do it themselves.
To sit in church is to be still, to be still is to be closer to god, closer to understanding our true existence.
It is unfair to judge someone on their religion or way they choose to live more spiritually. As there is no right or wrong, the more that try, the more that will come to light. The more that is hidden from us will be exposed.
We are all part of something much bigger, something much more important than our mundane lives. It is impossible to deny that, all you have to do exist and you are spiritual, you are part of something that you cannot see, but can feel.
